Other than that, I sponsored a child through World Vision today.

Her name is Anita, she is six years old and her birthday is the same day as mine. july 28th.

We both have two sisters, but she lives in Rwanda and lives in a community infected with HIV/AIDS virus. 
Right now I am still speechless, I feel satified knowing that I have somehow made a difference in this little girls life, but now I want to do more.

so im back to taiwan.
hong kong was pretty amazing. very good food. and the people there were hiliarious. loved it. we had 6 events there in 4 days so it was pretty tiring. but God's good. every event was filled with Hong Kongese people ready to push their revival to the next level. it was amazing.
Singapore and Malaysia were awesome too. Food was as bad as they were suppose to be. the worship there was completely sincere and intimate.=) good stuff.
Malaysia opened my eyes. There are huge racial and cultural walls there, kind of reminded me of the MLK stage in the US. And also with their political instability, the people are crying out for unity. We met a guy from Bangladesh who went there to work. Hes been there for 12 years now and has been working the same low paying job just so he can support his wife and kids and also his parents back home. works overtime everyday and only eats one meal a day. saves all that he can so he can help his family back home in Bangladesh. n even though he has the money to afford a motorcycle, he still uses the same bike that someone gave him 12 years ago. man...this guy is amazing, really blessed us with his story. i believe we can all learn something from him. this year will be his final year working in Malaysia, then he's gonna go back home to his wife and family. 
he really makes me appreciate what i have.
some now we're in taiwan. 
the first event here was pretty much the most excited and passionate of them all, in kaohsiong. filled with aborigines from the south, o do they love the Lord. they danced and sang with such passion that it was just incredible to be worshipping with them. 
so thats it for now. more on this later.

O man...this trip is almost over. what a time. I know i was suppose to update every once in a while but i didnt. so my apologies. 

I sincerely have to thank everyone for supporting me on this one. During this month I have experienced and learned so many things that i thought were not possible.
So thank you. 
the update. 
The plan was to head to southern taiwan this morning but because the typhoon came last night and was suppose to start raining at 8 at night. we had a change in plans.
So thank God. We finished packing after our event at around 10:30 and left for Tainan (the southern part of Taiwan). at around 1 a.m. we arrived and no rain had fall yet. =)
All day today we rested inside the hotel with rain smacking our windows sideways. phew...the wind was blowing really intensely. I went out with Kevin ( drummer) to grab some equipment from the bus
and the wind knocked at us hard. man...typhoons are troublesome. 
Oh! i gotta talk about our sound team. O do i respect them. we had about 30 people helping them and it still took us nearly more than an hour. 
they had a huge truck load of eqipment and each box was REALLY heavy. and their like 20 speakers were unbelieveably heavy. I have no idea how they do it with just 7 people. 
I do appreciate them so much now. every time they start at around 8 and work all the way till 3 to have it set up for us when we come and tear down after we leave. O man. They are awesome. 
Respect. 
Back to this trip. I am really looking forward to our taipei events. many of my relatives are coming and i really hope the music can touch them.
